Responsible for the teaching and training of computer related concepts to 320 sixth, seventh and eighth grade students. Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and course materials as well as methods of instruction. Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor administration/student computer problems. Participate in and coordinate research activities/collaborations with other instructors and school partnerships (i.e. Ford IT Department Partnership). Participate in departmental committees and other service activities to enhance the role and mission of the school.
- Worked and led work on designing and evaluating innovative user interfaces on the District Web site. Responsible for performing background research, planning, designing, and implementation of District school labs and media centers.
- Maintain regularly scheduled office hours in order to advise and assist students. Handle the query/problems of students, maintain student attendance records, grades, and other records.
