Banquet Captain Job Description
Banquet captains oversee and manage all aspects of banquet dining, including all banquet staff members. Restaurants, hotels, banquet rooms, and eating establishments of all kinds hire banquet captains to work full-time hours during flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Banquet captains serve as leaders within a collaborative team environment and primarily report to the banquet manager. Banquet captains work within the banquet, dining, and food preparation areas, and do not typically travel outside the property to perform their normal work duties.
