Responsible for financial analysis, modeling and equity valuation of 17 U.S. small ($250M) to large-cap ($50B) companies in the industrial machinery and equipment sector covering a diverse mix of end-markets including agriculture, construction, energy, food equipment and material handling.
- Ranked #2 in Thomson Reuters/Starmine's 2014 Analyst Awards for Excellence in Earnings Estimates Accuracy for Industrial Machinery. Consistently ranked in the top third of analysts by the BB&T institutional sales force. Published regularly in Barron's, The Wall Street Journal and The NY Times.
- Composed periodic reports including quarterly earnings reviews, strategic/financial analysis of material events (M&A, Analyst Day, Earnings Revisions) and macro-economic commentary.
- Conducted investment due diligence for new company initiations through on-site company visits, interviews with company management and industry experts, competitor analysis and the review of company SEC filings and public earnings calls.
- Organized and led numerous marketing events throughout the year, including non-deal road shows for covered companies, one-on-one Q&A sessions with institutional buy-side clients, factory field trips and an annual Commercial & Industrial conference held in Miami, FL (~75 total public companies attending in 2016) resulting in stronger client relationships and higher trading activity.
