Provide professional customer service in order to obtain demographic, financial and biographical information. Obtain information to appropriately bill payers, verify patient insurance eligibility and confirm benefits eligibility. Complete payment transactions by using proper negotiating techniques to professionally collect money owed according to individual insurance plans. Responsible for giving patients quality customer service by using critical thinking, time management and multitasking skills and implementing Core Values each and every day.
- Responsible for raising quality scores on patient accounts from 94% to 98.6%
- Facilitate patient placement and transfers on the care units
- Perform financial screenings on self-pay patients
- Input physician orders to bed patients in all departments of the hospital
