Inventory Assistants handle the inventory that businesses sell or use for operations. Duties found on Inventory Assistants' sample resumes include processing and/or approving invoices for payment, processing and documenting returns as required, and performing routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting customers. Inventory assistants need to be able to show a minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent on their resumes, and employers prefer applicants with between two and five years of inventory experience.
