Store Manager/apartment Manager
As the apartment manager I am responsible for collection of rent, record keeping, handling resident complaints and/or issues, light maintenance duties, upkeep of laundry facility, keeping grounds clean, scheduling of maintenance and pest control, building a waitlist, and apartment inspections.
- At the Oasis Worship Center's thrift store (Day of Hope) I developed the employee guidelines and operations handbook by which the store operates.
- I am responsible for recruiting volunteers, managing payroll and other expenses, cashiering, maintain store appearance, and merchandising.
- Scheduling of employees to operate store and pick up donations.
- I also work with outside agencies and do food giveaways to the needy, Red Cross referrals for burn out victims, and hotel vouchers to those displaced or in transient.
