Laboratory Technician Resume Examples

Laboratory Technician Resume Examples

Laboratory Technicians collect, examine, and test body fluids, tissue cells, and other substances. Their resumes indicate such skills as conducting chemical analyses of body fluids, such as blood and urine, using a microscope or automatic analyzer to detect abnormalities or diseases and enter findings into the database; obtaining specimens for cultivating, isolating, and identifying microorganisms; and analyzing the results of tests to ensure their conformity to specifications. Example resumes in the field show that Laboratory Technicians typically receive a postsecondary certificate or an associate's degree in medical laboratory technology, and licensure is also required for the role in some states.
