Maintain Records HR Representatives are responsible for creating, maintaining, storing, securing and destroying employee records. HR Representatives may also provide recommendations to management regarding benefits and pay scale in order to attract a worthy and competitive workforce.
Participate in Recruitment and Hiring Recruiting is often a duty of the HR Representative. They may travel to college campuses or job fairs in order to speak to potential candidates and distribute materials about their business. They must strive to find the strongest potential workers that will fit well in their business' environment. HR Representatives also perform many of the hiring duties, including posting job openings, reviewing applications, conducting interviews, providing new hire paperwork and in some cases even performing training to new employees.
