Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
History, physicals and neurodevelopmental testing of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit graduates including preterm, term, and intrauterine drug exposed children and children with congenital anomalies and genetic disorders such as Down Syndrome.
- Management of feeding, growth, developmental and behavioral issues on an outpatient basis
- Referral for appropriate therapy, laboratory and imaging as well as durable medical equipment.
- Collaboration with case management and CPS caseworkers to ensure safety and the provision of optimal medical treatment for children ages birth to 4. Management of outpatient medication and developmental assessment of intrauterine drug exposed infants and toddlers. Basic primary care on an as needed basis.
- Data collection for studies of the long term affects of the NICU environment on neurodevelopment
