Provide 12/7 coverage on the United States Army's Blackhawk helicopter in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Tear-down, inspect, repair and replace aircraft components, engines, auxiliary power units, main rotor blades, dampers, spindles, tail rotor components, gear boxes, swash plates, transmissions, drive shafts, tail boom landing gears, main rotor mast, and hubs. Rig rotor systems, conduct rig check on main rotor systems, tail rotor systems, stabilator and pitch control links. Requisition aircraft parts in accordance with parts manuals. Maintain Blackhawk's FLIR system. Train and mentor junior employees on phase maintenance requirements. Troubleshoot landing gear, flight controls, anti-icing, pneudraulics, engines, auxiliary power units, ventilation and heating systems. Inspected and installed primary servo, hydraulic pumps, bell cranks, engine starter, hydro mechanical units, load demand system cables, walking beam.
