Admissions Specialist & Coordinator
Utilize face-to-face interactions and telephone calls to educate the public on admissions processes and proper courses of action for rescued or injured animals. Supervise the admissions staff and volunteers while mentoring interns and volunteers to produce exemplary results. Admit animals and retain all pertinent records. Identify priority of triage cases and articulate observations of rescued animals to animal care personnel. Carefully prioritize rescue response requests to dispatch rescue vehicles accordingly. Remain active with community outreach events and accept donations to strengthen operational functions. Conduct daily maintenance of patient database systems to maintain a current patient count.
