Prepared monthly activity calendars, supervised staff and volunteers, maintained and wrote new policies and procedures, completed residents' chart documentation, completed weekly payroll, scheduled staff and volunteers, maintained departmental budget and petty cash, knowledge of basic computer skills, created signs and posters, scheduled entertainment, completed MDS 3.0, answered phone calls in office, maintained good customer service with residents and family members, member of the following committees: safety, infection control, quality assurance, restraint and interdisciplinary care conference. When required would act as weekend administrator.
- When needed would assist social work department with documentation on residents' charts and completion of MDS 2.0 and 3.0.
- Also would assist admissions department with prospective family tours if needed, setting up charts and basic knowledge of medicaid and medicare laws.
- Answered phones at front desk if needed.
