Habilitation Specialist
- Assist 13 males diagnosed with profound intellectual disability with personal hygiene care, toileting, lifts and transfers, dining, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide supports and services which involve advocating for, encouraging, guiding and teaching intellectually disabled individuals in expressing their personal choices and ensuring community integration.
- Assist and encourage the intellectually disabled individuals to participate in games and recreational programs; coach and encourage the individuals to develop daily living skills
- Provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for them to live in.
- Record care plans and, in accordance with special instructions.
- Administer medication.
- Ensure the health and safety of the individuals in emergency situations.
