Metrics Officer/control Room Operator
Provide daily and weekly metrics reports on datacenter alarms for the San Francisco cluster.
- Utilize Lenel and MS Excel to gather and analyze access alarm data. Identify and explain underlying trends driving access alarms for individual sites and the entire cluster.
- Lead weekly meetings focused on identifying, investigating, and reducing datacenter alarms resulting from access device issues.
- Support Regional Security Manager (RSM), Security Leads, and G4S Cluster Manager by conducting in-depth investigations of specific alarms.
- Train security officers and contractors in badging techniques to ensure a low number of alarms and associated Defects per Million (DPM) scores.
- Monitor camera and alarm systems to ensure safety and security of A100 data centers. Dispatch security patrol to investigate and resolve all alarms in a timely manner. Retrain offenders in A100 badging procedures after an alarm is caused.
- Facilitate employee, contractor, and visitor access to the site utilizing Lenel and Doors of Durin application software. Ensure that only authorized personnel are granted access to the data center.
