Astronauts operate space exploration vehicles and travel in outer space. Typical work activities performed by an Astronaut include piloting space shuttles, leading spacecraft crews, undergoing physical training, and getting involved in extravehicular activity. The job demands a very complex skillset, and the most successful Astronaut resume samples mention qualifications such as technical expertise, excellent health, piloting experience, endurance and communication. Organizations like NASA select resumes displaying at least a Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or science field, aside from previous flight experience.
