Sales Trainee Job Description

Sales trainees are sales professionals at the beginning of their career who are gaining experience in the industry by completing training assignments. The tasks sales trainees are involved with include practicing sales techniques and processes by taking on new or existing accounts, taking calls from customers and assisting them with their purchases, and adhering to company procedures. Sales trainees can work part-time or full-time, and the hours can vary depending on the company. Some sales roles may be on a shift basis as well, as some trainees can have irregular hours.
